There is no place like home, and that's where most people want to be when they are sick. Our nurses, rehabilitation therapists, medical social workers, home health aides, and other professionals work with your physician to provide the care you need at home. To be eligible for skilled home health services patients must be home-bound, have a physician's order and have insurance authorization. Most times, physicians, recommend home health care services for their patients. However, an individual or caregiver may request services from a physician. Examples of medical issues which may require home health care are: cancer, diabetes, heart and lung diseases, fractures, stroke, chronic illness, and other disabilities.
